One minute I was running through the forest, on red alert for Victoria, and the next I heard a scream of pain, fear, and exhilaration all at once that rang through my ears and stopped me in my tracks with its familiarity. Bloodlust I blinked, feeling utterly stupid, as I stared at Bella for the first time in six months. At least, I thought it was Bella. She was supposed to be dead, but here she was, bright and alive and clearly very happy to see me.
